How did you hear about Clarity’s Mobile Dictation service?
My computer support technician. I asked him what people were doing. He didn’t understand the digital dictation system or all the applications of Clarity’s pocket PBX but together with Clarity’s support we came to understand very quickly!
How much time did it take to get up and running?
A couple of days. I can dictate my notes and send them to my secretary to type up. She emails me with the finished piece, I proof it and she sends it, a clean and easily legible document.
What advice would you give someone else in your profession?
I’m surprised every Solicitor in Northern Ireland isn’t doing it. Regional Solicitors especially need this sort of connectivity.
What were the business benefits you were hoping for?
I wanted to become more productive and I was. My time is now used more effectively and efficiently wherever I may be. It also gets me home at a reasonable time, because I can complete jobs wherever I am.
Are staff happy with what you have done?
Yes. It means they can have more access to me. From a productivity point of view it works for both myself and staff. I can dictate and send letters back to the office, so it increases their productivity as well.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned in the last six months?
This differentiates me in the market. It’s professional, accurate and timely.
